Anti-bullying week - 'Choose Respect'

18th November 2024
The theme for Anti-bullying week this year was 'Choose Respect'.  We were thinking about how we all deserve to be treated respectfully, even when we disagree with each other.  We also need to learn to make good choices in how we speak to other people and how we relate to each other.

In our school, we listen to children and take any worries about bullying seriously.

We started the week with Odd Socks Day, as a way of celebrating our individuality!

Class 9's Odd Socks!
At lunchtime, lots of children came to design a special Odd Sock after they had finished their lunch.
Some children in Class 4 made Odd Socks in their Golden Time.
We really enjoyed sharing the book 'You Matter' by Christian Robinson.  Below is a link to watch Christian reading and talking about his book.
